Reservations against reservations!!
I woke up one fine morning with my cuppa morning tea and picked up the newspaper for my daily dose of "wot's wrong with the world today?".Newspapers seem to be filled with news of who killed whom and who's being the latest pain in the ass for the USA and of course some stories about cricketers and filmstars. But i was in for a wicked shock.
I almost spilled my cuppa when i saw the front page headline screaming at me : "HRD minister proposes additional qoutas for OBCs"!!
Hold on.. Did i read it right.. Did anyone say ADDITIONAL QUOTA?? Haven't we had enough of that crap since independence? OBCs?? Who the hell are OBCs anyways? Do you see any OBC guy who's backward in any sense whatsoever than you anywhere?? Well, i don't!We are a country crippled by mindless quotas and reservations.
After the initial shock and disgust i felt and after i was done cursing the honorable HRD( Human Resources DEGRADATION ) minister, i gave it a serious thought as to why has the government taken this drastic step and this is wot i came up with..
Who is to blame for the current state of affairs? It's us, the youth of the nation. My logic behind this statement is that we do not exercise our franchise at all. Have any of you guys voted even once snce you were eligible to vote?? I am sure most of you would say no. Now herein lies the problem. Who are the people who go to vote? The uneducated and the gullible who will vote for anyone who gives them a square meal to eat!! And these are the people who, in effect choose our representatives to govern us!!
If we, the educated youth of the nation exercise our franchise judiciosly, we won't have to bear with all this crap over and over again. Criticising the government once they have brought in the law to do so won't help! If we start to be the majority of the voting public, our voices will be heard by the ppl in the government! No govt will dare to fiddle around with the already bad situation!
So lets VOTE in the upcoming elections and show the government and it's bloody vote bank politics the door! Once we have shown our demographic might, any future government would think twice before venturing into any such gimmick again!
Yours Sarcastically.

no.of uneducated >>>> no.of educated youths.
Conclusion:Vote or no vote,there won't be a difference,because the equation is too one-sided !
